do you have an address or contact for where you sent the oil cooler?

Also, since we are talking oil coolers, I am unsure of the year, but mine has a thermostat.  I
think it's an '86. What are people doing  with the thermostat? Is anyone disabling them or
anything?

A few years ago I removed the thermostat from the oil cooler and plugged
the [bypass] hole inside. It is the right size for a 1/4" NPT. But it made no
difference in cooling. Oil ran too cool sometimes, like long descents.
With the thermostat in there the minimum oil temp is held to 160F. So I
see no reason to remove it.
