reading......Definitely leave the MM Pads Sharp corners other than the

standard

casting minimum radius required.......As far as the Psru's 10mm Mounting

face I

agree that it should be on the OUTSIDE of the face of the housing..

That is how I will do the Aussie design, but we have to take into account
Tracy's drive shaft length !!

OR reduce the depth of the bellhousing and put on a pad fort the a starter
motor.

..I strongly suggest that the OD be beveled/chamfered 45 degree and blended
to the face of the Housing.

I was thinking along those lines
The re-enforcing Ribs should terminate and blend on this

chamfer 2mm BELLOW the faces surface.........Now for the big kicker, the

OD:

Allow yourself a MINIMUM of 3-4mm of extra edge material for casting

run-out during machine turning operation ie: Tracy's ReDrive OD + 8mm.

OK - what is Tracy's drive OD again, exactly !!

Paul, if you recall, on my innitial suggestion of the re-enforcing Ribs,

I

mentioned a few ribs should be also placed under the Psru Mounting Hub,

I still feel a minimum of 2 should be placed there as this is an area of
high displacement (Loading) during hard landings. this I consider good cheap
Insurance/Assurance

Not quite sure where you mean these ribs to be -like spokes in a wheel
radiating out!?
