Dick and Jerry this is what I recommend.
I'll send another view in the next day or so.
The simple tangential muffler is outboard of the motor
mount tubes. George's bell housing should also work if you
want to build for that instead of a new motor plate.
The oil cooler is on the other side alongside the
water rad. One duct for both.

Simple Tangentials seem to fit nicely in any situation.   Easy to build
too.  Trouble is they cost about 15 hp.    Jerry

Are you sure? :) There is not a lot of room in a Long for tuned
pipes and a muffler.
