No real idea. Could be a temp sensor.

Capacitor, 0.47 microfarad, 250Volts
Cannot think of its intended function, probably not important for us.
Maybe slows down the reponse of a sensor? The stock oil pressure gauge
used a weird circuit more complex than a simple resistance sender, it is
likely part of that.
