This is the perfect rear motor mount. Front for a pusher. I don't,
for the life of me, figure out how I did not know about this years
ago. A rubber rod end. Simple. Left and right hand threads so you
can adjust the thrust line angle. Very important to optimize
the top speed. Use the 1/2 inch size to be conservative.

The ears on the early front cover are a little marginal so
weld on two ears on a custom oil pan as shown.

Everyone should be aware that they need to have a washer larger than the insert so if the rubber insert fails, the unit cannot fall apart.

I think that goes for all aircraft rod ends. My 182 has large washers on the throttle linkage
rod ends.
