Paul,

How practical would it be to put vent(s) in the boundary layer air bleed
above the scoop, along with associated ducting, for purposes of providing  cooling
air to the engine compartment?

Also, I believe that the fuselage curves upward somewhat in front of the
landing gear, (as opposed to being flat as show in your dwg.), this would provide
additional depth for venting the boundary air bleed.

Might work. It is a risk. At this point in time too few people have totally
satisfactory cooling so I am attempting to achieve a little over kill until
we have have a dozen or so airplanes flying with no cooling problems what
so ever.
