Gary Spencer with his race modified direct drive Ford V8 went exactly
the same speed as Klause. How embarrassing :) Hey guys we need to get
some rotaries in these races.

Not a direct comparison. Klaus has a Vari-EZ, they go faster on less HP
than the Long-EZ. But
Gary Spencer is doing very well, going much faster than the "Super
Stock" Long-EZs. That is the
O-320 LEZ crowd. Stock LEZ means O-235.
