I think pressure measurements on the real system will be disappointing
as far as determining the GPH. This flow meter is a God send.
I can loan it to anyone willing to test their system.

I disagree,  I think that when you have the pressure drop across the block,
and the pressure drop across the radiators, that the delta-P *across the
radiator* will be a good indicator of flow rate.

I may take you up on testing with the flow meter, but only after I get the
entire system plumbed up. How much space in the plumbing is needed?

Second question, have you calibrated the flow meter in any way to ensure
that the readings represent the true flow?

I see wide ranges of flow with very small differences in pressure differential
when the system is pressurized to 15 PSI. All three gages are in their
ranges.

The flow meter 1.5 inch diameter tube with hose barbs and pressure
gages is about 8 inches long.
