Out of curiosity (killed the cat you know!) I went back to my open loop data, and plotted the pressure with valve closed as a function of the Square of the RPM.  As I suspected it came out to be a pretty good straight line.

I then tried to remember your rpm and pressure developed when the valve was closed. I think you were at about 4200 rpm and 12 psi differential. That is plotted on the attached graph also.

Looks like our data is very close.
