Hinge the license plate so it bends back out of the way

Not sure what you mean...the grill is in the way, and putting

the plate far

enough out to flop down with air flow, it would have to stick

out in front

of the car about 6 inches.

Have to think that one over...with the plate not visible, if

in a flopped

back and/or down position, it might still be illegal.
