He tried to vary them so he'd have a sample of each, but the cars are
dribbling in now...the next couple won't be in until near the middle to end
of August.

Two that he's pretty sure should be here by then are a red one and a silver
one.

Jeff is the Mazda manager...he asked me if I would give you his email
address so you can contact him if you have any more questions. Probably a
good idea, 'cause each answer brings more questions that I can't answer!

I forgot to ask about the New York State taxes...but the sales taxes just
went up to 8.25%, so let's hope you don't have to pay it...or at least be
able to get it rebated from the state.

Paul, please allow me to chime in here. If the sales tax is lower in NY then it is in the peoples republic, then the peoples
republic DMV will assess the difference in taxation when you register in CA. I bought a Suburban in Indianapolis and paid 4 1/2%
sales tax there. When I registered the vehicle in Nevada they charged me the difference. Nevada is 7.25%. CA is no different. If
I could offer a car buying tip. Find a city with a surpressed economy. I happen to find Indy and I bought my suburban there
because I saved $9000 from the mark ups and such because the dealer in  Indy didnt move a lot of them and they were threatening
to loose there allocation from the manufacturer. I didnt even have to negotiate. It was slicker then sliced bread.I know the
RX-8 is new and will be more difficult but find a city where they dont move a lot of sportscars then go to the nearest dealer.
