I was gifted one by an unhappy user. There is no value other
than
the shape
is a bit better for me. Just having may hand closer to what
I'm
working on
helps me a bit.

If you cannot do a job with a conventional unit, you probably
cannot
do it
with the Henrob/Dillon.

There is a shield to protect your hand, that you will throw
away
soon
after
try to weld anything with it on place.

It is not a new and improved anything. It is a different
shape,
and
that may
be of some use to some people.

If you can get one cheap, or try one out first, do that. The
people
that
demonstrate these things are just real good at it. If you are
real
good with a
regular torch, you will be real good with a Henrob or a
Dillon.
These
will not
provide skills that you don't have now.

Very true.   Probably more aircraft have been built using the
Smith
aircraft torch than any other.  I have a henrob I will give
away if
anyone wants it.   I don't like my hand that close to the heat.

Anyway, if it has not been packed, I will dig it up and send it
off to
......Royce.  However, after you prove to yourself that it is
nothing
special,  I hope you send it on to someone else for further
testing.

We agree with Paul, our reply went out after we had gotten the last
message off
our server, and no one had claimed the torch at that time, however
shortly
thereafter we did get new messages, and two people had responded
before us.
Didn't get any message for a third person though.
So whoever responded first should get it.  We certainly would love to
have it,
but the first reply should get it.

O.K.  Kevin gets it.  I found it last night and put it in a box.  Has a
number of tips but I have not yet located the heat shield.   You may
have to get hold of a copy of the owner's manual on your own, although
there is still one place I have not looked where it might well be.   I
bought this unit at least fifteen years ago.

  Kevin send me shipping info.   My address is good to July 28 so move
with alacrity.
