Paul, this is a serious layout for two radiators. Rads 10 x 1.5 x 13
inches. Intakes approx 4 x 10 curved to cowl contour. The rad volume is
the 300 cu. in. for the 13b x 1.3 for the 20b or 390 in. cu.
actually it's about 395. Exit is side slots like the Thorpe, which
would have cowl flaps . Inlets are the wedge profile. radiators are long
side vertical. That could be rotated if needed. The firewall shown is
48" wide like a RV-10.

What do you think? Have I lost it or is something starting to
penetrate? Critical comments welcomed. I don't want to blow it here. I
believe the engine mount tubing would clear to the bottom. I also
considered allowing the rad exit to be wide open to the undercowl with a
bottom exit. Much simpler ducting. Thanks for your comments! Bill

That will work.
If you make mirror images you can mount the rads flush with the skin
and save the volume consumed for the exit ducts inside the cowl. Use a few venetian
blind flaps to provide a negative pressure area on the outlet side of
the rads.

Why two rads? Why not just one on the cool side.... spark plug side
of the engine?
