George,
I think I'll still end up with a net weight savings because of
motormount interfaces I won't have to fabricate. Speaking of which,
will this handle the extra loads of the 20B? Any clue of the price
yet? No pressure, just budgeting.

Chris,
I've asked the boys at the machine shop ( I guess you seen the photos) to
give me an estimate of cost, given I make adjustments to the pattern, to
make their job easier.
No answer yet !
I'm also exploring multiple options, in an attempt to keep the machining
costs down. As well if you had the capacity to machine your own, that would
be much cheaper for you, however there is a fair bit of machining to do.
My cost is (approx) in US dollars $120 casting (this went up from original
estimate by the foundry), Postage and packaging could be $60 from Aust to
the USA - I'm not sure how much packaging is required and the cost of same
and how much that will add to the weight for postage costs, but this is a
rough average and would depend on how quick you needed it and if it went by
air or sea freight.
I think if you add $50 as a profit margin to off-set my investment costs -
that wouldn't be unreasonable.
Of course the machining costs are on top of this!!
Individually these costs aren't high - but they do add up unfortunately.
That's a very rough estimate until such time I can lock down a firm price
for everything, this should give you some idea.
