I was just looking at that and wondering what I was going to do with the
ports, your adapter looks best. The cast in 90 deg looks best, if it doesn't work
I can cut them off and weld back at a workable angle. I think I want one.
Just got the pump housing today, but my cartridge doesn't quite fit. What
year cartridge works best?

Ah so you have a late 2nd gen cartridge with eight bolts instead of 
seven. Is that right?  I think it is a pre 1989 13B seven bolt cartridge.
I don't use the  bolt on the extreme right as it gets in the way of
the outlet. $40 bucks at your local auto parts store. Check it for 
quality as some of those after market ones are pretty bad.
