Afternoon, Paul...

any trouble with your RX8<<

Just what I've caused!

As I mentioned...that fingernail tear in the B pillar covering...like trim
tape, not paint. But they said they would replace it.

And a tear in the door seal, I may have done that with the side of my boot
getting in once when I couldn't open the door far enough when I parked too
close to the truck in the garage.

...and my sister tried to take the cover off the fuse box and cracked the
hold down clip.

....they've ordered all the parts.

No problems with the car itself, though.

BTW...I finally ran a full tank of high test (97 octane Mobil) through
it...only got 19.4 mpg. As I said in an earlier email, I've been getting 20
to nearly 26 using 87 octane, depending on type of driving. I filled it up
this morning with 87 octane again!

The exhaust extensions tips still build up carbon black in them...no one
seems to know why, and it doesn't seem to affect performance or mileage. (it
seemed even worse after the tank of high test). Just one more thing to
clean when washing the vehicle.

To answer your question...with 3000 miles on it now, still very happy with
it, and would do it again! Still gets a lot of looks and questions.

Although, I'm not used to a "sport car" with all those doo-dads. Electric
locks, power windows, CD player, etc. etc. Do you think they'll ever make
them like my good ol' TR-3s! <G>
