Actually, I think the concept is sound. Adverse torque is compensated
 for through the deflection of air via louvers below the prop. There
 are 5 prop blades 94" long. The prop ain't that small and it is
 shrouded.
 I would love to see it up close.

Have you ever seen a quarter scale Extra 300 hanging on the prop and tapping
the rudder on the ground while keeping the advertising on the bottom of the
wing pointed
toward the crowd?  Have you seen Shawn Tucker do the same trick but 30 feet
in the air for his photo pass at the end of his show. Or when he takes a "G"
break in the middle of the show, and just hangs the plane motionless, as though
bolted to an invisible pole, for a long minute. His plane is not spinning
beneath the prop. The model guys don't have counter rotating propellers, nor does
Mr. Tucker. The military is already evaluating designs that are in this size
area for recon. Remember when the formula one cars were using fuel that cost
$1,500.00 per gallon? What if you didn't need the extra 100 HP, but just needed
that extra energy to get more range?

Bet against these guys if you like, Just don't bet the farm.
