I've got the facilities to weld this stuff, but I'm not sure
exactly

how to fabricate a tight bend like this out of flat stock. I'll have
to take a look at it. I will have air cooling the exhaust system.

     Brian, clarify something for me. Are you going to make square
tubes
     coming off the square exhaust flanges? Like your originally
square
     tube tuned muffler? If so I would like to test it on the dyno
for noise
     and power  if you don't mind.  I think it is a good idea worth
testing.
     Don't forget to purge the inside of the SS tubes with inert gas
when you
     are welding them. Keeps the flash down.

No, sorry about the confusion- the exhaust flanges are square with
four
bolt  holes, but the exhaust pipes are round. I had to get a machine
shop near here cut the flanges with a water jet. It would be
interesting
to see how well square pipes attenuate noise.

While you are at it get them to make a batch of those square flanges.
I am sure a bunch of people would like some. I'll take four right
off the bat. Build a drill jig while your at it so the holes
will line up with the exhaust port.

Is there a drawing of the square exhaust flange?   Is the material .5
MS?  Jerry

Not that I know of but you have to be carefully where and how deep the
stud holes go.
