The new PRSU will be some 2 kgs lighter as there is no need for the
bulkhead in the ring gear of the 2.85 reduction as this stationary.
There is a very interesting thing about the new engine and that is
there is no balance weight as Mazda have made the fly wheel to suite
the engine. Note all the holes in the perimeter in the early photos,
they are clever bastards as all the weight is on the perimeter which
has more throw thus requiring less wight.
I have had this engine out of the box some 3 hours and am very
impressed in the improvements.
