The problem with the Kis is there is not a lot of room above
the water pump. I think I need as large a water rez as I can fit in
there. Can you roll
up some aluminum sheet and make a 4" dia tank. Good idea on the hose
connection from the bottom of the tank to the 1.5 inch pipe between the
rad and the water pump intake. Will add a bit of flexibility.

How about AN -10 Use a 1/2" NPT bung on the bottom of the tank and
one on the 1/5 inch pipe? Line them up more or less so I can use
straight
AN fittings. No angles. I don't think it needs to be any bigger than
that
as there is no real flow through it.

BTW I need a 25 psi pressure cap. Can you get 25 psi pressure caps in
the
small filler neck size? If not I need the large pressure cap.
I am not happy with the quality of the  pressure caps I have seen.
This is a mission critical part of the cooling system.
Some one needs to make a high quality high reliability version.

Paul,

 No need to roll the aluminum tube.  Aluminum tube off cuts and
remnants are available from the home built  telescope suppliers.  I
can't find the reference, but an internet search will bring up the
info.  I think it is available in one inch diameter  increments .
