I am looking at a 92 turbo 2 that has been setting for 2 years.
Is there
anything I can do to help the restart process that will minimize
the
problems that rotarys have when they have sat along time.

Word of warning:  I have been rehabing a 90 TII for about a year now
and it has been a major project.  It sat for about 6+ years, but in
very nice overall condition, bought it with known bad motor, in
addition to the motor it has needed the inlet duct that Paul mentioned,
new fuel injectors, fuel pump, both throttle position sensors, a boost
gauge, an exhaust, the list goes on, this is a very difficult car to
work on too much crap all over the engine, somewhere around fuel
injectors I let my mechanic take over, I have about 8 grand in this
car, it is nice but I never planned to sink that into it.  How was that
for a run-on sentence?
