I can't get his web site to work at all.

On another topic, would you recommend a blower over a turbo assuming
room is
not a factor?
I've been told that a turbo of any kind will not withstand the
continuous
high rpm and temps that I plan on running.
and that a blower (although less efficient by 2 to 5 percent) will let
the
exhaust "breath" better,
and last much much longer.
I'll need 2 -5 p.s.i. continuously with peaks of 8-10.
Do you have any info on a flying example of either (or both).

Thanks, Mike

Turbo's are preferably for aircraft as they suck less power out of the
engine.
For street cars I would go for a blower for the low speed torque.

We have both a blower flying and a turbo three rotor. Not true on
the blower turbo not lasting. Tom Parkes is having no trouble with
his. Make sure the wheel is Inconel.

Seeking knowledge Paul... :) What blower (at least on a small 2 liter
Engine) has better low end torque than a well matched turbo? I've looked
at some (Jackson Racing, Vortec and a few I can't remember) and they're
terrible 'till 4-5 grand. Most of the turbo kits come on like
gangbusters at around 2500-3000 and pull like a mad man 'till 7000.

Are they doing something wrong or choosing the wrong blowers?

Those are not roots type blowers. They are centrifugal blowers. Same as
turbo charger compressors except they are gear driven. Eaton roots type
positive displacement blowers as used on Mercedes Benz, Jaguar and Ford cars and
are what we have experience with. Lots of low RPM torque right from 1000 RPM on up.

Mazda went to great lengths to make the third gen RX7 turbo work as well
as it does. They used two smaller turbo's so they would spool up faster.

In theory a turbo does not suck power from the engine. In actual fact it
puts a bit of back pressure on the exhaust. A roots blower
on a rotary on the other hand will suck down 30 HP or more. That means
if you want 250 HP out.... the engine and the cooling system must deal with 280 HP.
