Thanks Paul . I have an old friend who was a race car junkie. He is pushing 
the wankel engine and I'm becoming a believer . Any idea of the weight
 and dimensions on this engine ? Links to Mazda are all glossie ; no hard data.  Fritz

The bare block 3 rotor weight is 260 pounds. To this you need to add 100
pounds of stuff. PSRU (45 pounds), turbo, starter, alternator, motor mount,
rad, etc., etc., etc.. Figure on about 400 pounds firewall forward.
