I have been putting off posting this notice, but with your situation

like as good a time as any to do it.  I have a virgin RD-1B redrive that

has

been mounted on my engine, but never run.  I bought it a couple of years

ago to

use on my turbo 20B and have since decided to go N/A and use the

2.85:1.00

drive instead.  My new RD-1C re-drive arrived last Friday.  So, I'm

looking to

sell the RD-1B. It uses the 6 pinion planetary unit, so as Paul says, it

is 50%

stronger.  RWS sells them for $2890, and I would knock off $500 from

that

price.  This is a real good deal for someone needing/wanting a new

redrive.

If I don't sell it to someone on the rotary group, I'll be putting it up

for bid

on ebay. Good luck with the re-work.

Paul is correct, the RD-1B is a 2.17:1.00 ratio with the 6-pinon planetary set
to handle the higher hp applications.
