I call this traction propulsion. This consist of two large diameter
tubular rotating carbon fiber spars driving a thin rubber belt
with a lot of long thin aluminum hat section cleats attached.

It becomes 100% efficient at high speeds and skin friction drag
on the lower wing skin is eliminated. Normal flaps and ailerons
are used. The propeller and PSRU are eliminated.

The 13B turbo rotary engine transversely buried in the fuselage
drives both rotating spars with a long cog belt.

I am setting up a web site and I am looking for investors.

So you're going to run a conveyer belt at 200+ MPH? I look forward to seeing
that :)

There are a few technical problems to overcome but nothing your money can't fix.

The first flight is scheduled for 2nd quarter 05.

Hi Paul,

You did neglect to give the specs. Lack of any actual test data (or
logic) shouldn't be any hindrance. As an early investor, I would like
to suggest the following:

large 4-place cabin
1100 lbs empty wt.
3000 lbs gross wt.
1900 lbs useful load
350 mph cruise (or should that be kts.)
4000 fpm climb @ 120 mph
6 gph fuel consumption at cruise

Did I forget anything? How did I arive at these numbers? Well, that's
about what I would like to see! :) Should I be more optimistic?
