Do I understand you right? You are using .040 mig wire to tig weld?

To weld the THIN .040 thick material Kelly. You can also buy some
 very small diameter standard welding rod but what Ed is talking
about is less expensive. Good idea ED. Hope I wasn't talking

I agree,  I buy mig wire myself for welding the thin material.  Much eaiser and better looking welds with mig wire on the thin material.  Tom Webber

BTW Tom I don't think you got these last two 3D's but in case you did just
delete them.
