Also -- anyone have a good source for these gauges, and/or do's and

don'ts?  I found an aviation outfit selling gauges + sensors for ~$40 each.

Thanks to everyone for their gauge-vendor suggestions.  No one, however, has
commented on the typical pressure & temperature ranges for each of the
gauges.  Can't order gauges w/o knowing what operating range they should
work for...

Oil temp to 250 degrees. Water temp to 250 degrees. Oil pressure to 100 PSI.
Water pressure to 30 psi. 

Ideally a water pressure gauge at the input to the pump. The
outlet from the pump and input to the block. A third one at the outlet of the
block. Use an oil temp gauge in the pan and the input to the block after the oil cooler.

Same for the water temp. Out of the block and into the water pump after the rad.
This will help you solve the inevitable cooling problems.
