All is well. A friend of Duffy's at LAL called to say that the two people
that I saw flip a Lancair on Sunday are fine, and the Ultra Light pilot that
crashed only has a broken leg.
As Margaret and I were in line to depart Sunday from Sun n Fun, we saw a gold
collored Lanceair, I think, land funny, power up and get off the airstrip and
flip over. They shut the airport for about 30 minutes. Then opened 9R and let
us go.

Jerry the plane that flipped is my hangar neighbor. It was a Glasair with 8
cylinder Lycoming twin turbo IO-740. His usual climb rate was 6500 fpm.
He had no insurance and it is about 500K loss. They delivered the remains
this morning on a trailer. The owner was together with his wife when it
happened, but they are OK.
