It is important that the tube your are connecting to at both ends
cannot
move apart.  With 25 psi pressure, on a 1-1/2 line, there is about a
45 lb
force trying to push things apart.

Nope.  It's sort of like a "tug-of-war".  With a person on each end; each
pulling 100 lbs; there's still only 100 lbs tension in the rope
