Yes but the seizure is from the rotor expanding and jamming into
the side housings as the rotor is oil cooled.

I kind of doubt that Ken. Rotor is cast iron and does not expand
much with temp.
The rotor clearance actually increases when the engine warms up due to
the aluminum rotor housings. I also remember you telling us about how
you taper the rotors in the lathe to give more wobble clearance.
I think bearing failure without oil would happen long before that.
I could be wrong. Did you take the engine apart and see evidence of this?

Nope done it did it been there before, I have not pulled this engine
down yet but I will bet that the bearings are fine.
When I had the Ross redrive hamburger itself and all the crap
plugged the oil intake it just seized the rotors to the side housings
and the bearings and rotor housings were fine and I used them over.
I will get the engine pulled down next week and let you know.
