No that was just a spec of dirt. I run it flat out at 75% power at 8000

feet and

above.....  unless of course I am lost :) Since I got my $89 GPS I never

get lost :)

Paul,
 Those GPS sure do help in places like Australia, but I can't help laugh
when I remember a chap who flies out of Redcliffe (Paul has been there). He
lives the other side of Amberley Air Force Base anyhow he gets this new
(U-beaut) GPS and decided to use it to fly to Redcliffe - too bloody easy.
Uses it to fly home as well.

There was a hell of a commotion at Redcliffe because Amberley complained
about this unauthorised flight through Restricted Air Space.

This chap failed to do a flight plan, failed to get clearance (both ways,
adding additional insult to the control tower Amberley), no Radio Work - and
couldn't understand what the commotion was all about because he couldn't get
lost he was using his new GPS.

Additional training was required!!

PS. I do admit their pretty good!!

Yep I flew all over Australia with my $89 dollar GPS but it is no substitute
for a chart showing restricted air spaces.
