mild steel
is the fatigue life. If there is any vibration it is likely to crack

term.

BTW Jerry those oil pan clips can look like this. This will pick up
those
missing pan bolts near the oil pan corners. The flange is on the
outside of bolts.

No, still won't work. The corner of the beam bisects the third hole
out from center. I don't think it is a problem. If someone is
worried about it, the solution is a custom pan. Jerry
