Fine looking job on the throttle body/s. I would like to make a

suggestion. For aircraft use we would like to have a very tight and
reliable
fit. My

suggestion is to make the the hole bored into the housing a .001
inch

press fit. The insertion can be made using  liquid nitrogen. The fit
will
seal itself

but you can still put some epoxy on the housing prior to inserting
the

body. The housing and the body stabilize all will be well. Just my
$.02.

Are you alluding to the possibility of a less than water tight fit?
It has been suggested (to me) that it may be a possibility.

If so! my suggestion would be to step the Throttle Body OD to allow
for 2
O-rings and use two studs to hold the TB in and to keep pressure on
the
O-rings. Perhaps one could use the current stud  and another at the
top.

From pictures of Richard Sohn's project it would appear  he is using
studs

to retain the TB.

I think I will do it that way if I can.

The fit is tight and precise.  The throttle body is keyed to the
housing by the two .125 x .125  grooves that you can see in the photos.
   Once the epoxy fills them there will be  a strong mechanical lock.
