I think this is a very bad idea.  You turn an exhaust leak into carbon
monoxide coming into the cabin.

No different than any other air cooled aircraft engine heater system
Hans. They all work off the exhaust. And all air-cooled VW's for that

matter.

Paul,
    I'd have to agree with Hans, the exhaust system is going to be challenge
enough with the high rotary temps and we have lots of heat in the coolant
system to get rid of anyway. I'll install a small heater core for comfort
and safety and get rid of that nasty gas as quick as I can.
