Bill, I took another look with the oil rad on there and
the alternator and it looks like the alternator/rear motor mount
combination won't work for me. Interference with the oil plumbing.
Also if forces it a bit too far off center for my piece of mind.

It is back to plan A the oil pan
mount. I got some ideas on improving that.

  Paul,  I am going to install a small length of the hat section, which
as  you know I have plenty of,  at the back of the pan.  Same as we
intended to do at the front.  The strut can be attached to a bracket
welded to the hat section.   The hat section can be reinforced locally
as needed.  Jerry
