I have a couple of Mazda throttle bodies so I decided to use
one. It is less than optimum aerodynamic wise and heavy but it
will form the base line pressure drop for the dyno engine.

More later on attaching the stock throttle body to the four inch plenum.
There is a trick to it.

Here is the problem and here is the solution. Note how the stock TB mounting
holes are incompatible with the four inch square plenum extrusion.
Simple solution; weld a 1/2 inch thick plate on the end of the plenum
and drill and tap it for 1/4 inch TB mounting screws.

I did exactly the same thing for my TB as Paul suggested, but instead of
square, I used 3" round tube for the manifold.

How did you do the transition from 3 hole stock TB to three inch round tube

I use single Nissan 65mm ID TB. But I had to make a 1/2" piece to be welded
to the tube and four threaded holes in the corners to attach the TB.

OK 65 mm OK 2.55 dia. When you get it flying please rig a pressure 
gage on both side of the butterfly and report back. Pressure drop
across the butterfly is a subject I am intensely interested in as
it has a direct bearing on the amount of HP being generated.
