Does the separator plate have to be welded to the pan?  If it's

just

sitting in there sealant would be needed on both sides, but that
shouldn't be a major problem.

That will work for sure however what we are trying to do here
is kill four birds with one stone.

A: Reshape the oil pan to get more air to a bottom mounted rad.
B: Reduce the weight of the oil pan.
C: provide a rear motor mount bracket.
D: Incorporate an air oil separator plate which you must have anyway.

BTW Tom, is that a computer controlled plasma cutter? If so perhaps you
could
cut the other oil pan parts for Ed as well as just the air oil
separator plate.

Yes its CNC,  program once and cut many.  That won't be a problem,  The
material type for the bottom,  sides and rear mounts, is it also 6061 T6
@.125?  If so it makes it real easy to program and cut.  The rear mount
brackets have a radius and hole.  What are these dimensinons? how many
of the rear mount brackets are needed? 4?  Hole for the drain plug,
where and what diameter?   I'll program these today and do a test cut
and fit.  Tom Webber

The air oil sept plate and the large back panel are .125. The rest is .063.

Ed this should cost the cost.

As long as you have to program the cnc, make the pan portion all in one
piece then fold it up with a brake and just weld the corners.  Save some
time.

Everything but the back panel. That needs to be .125. the rest is .063 and that
can be folded up.
