With 17,000 miles, this morning I put new tires on it.  Just got back from about a fifty mile test drive, hitting all the spots around here that I had been careful to avoid because of that problem,
and I was unable to duplicate it even once! In the past, I was always able to demonstrate it to anyone within just a couple of miles.

Since the only change this morning is the new tires (it happened a couple of times while driving the 5 miles to Dunn Tire and not once since the new ones were installed) I can only assume it was due
to the Potenzas that Mazda had on it since new.

I put new BFG G-Force KDWs on it, and in the first 50 miles, they seem quieter, better handling, and just plain feel better. I feel they're better than the originals when they were new. Also don't
seem as hard over the bumps...but that may be simply because the other tires were getting ready to be replaced anyway.

No, I don't work for BF Goodrich!  I was considering these, and Yokohama's (my son put some on his BMW and loves them) Just reporting what I've discovered.
