Its too late now but yes you are right. To answer your question I

anybody investigate that.

Powersport did it right - the butterfly is horizontal.  Paul, this msg
is from my computer at work - is the spacing fouled up?  All of these
messages print correctly when I 'copy' myself.    Ken Powell

The spacing is good. The Power sport shaft is vertical.

We will  have to wait to see if my engine idles nice.   But if someone
wanted to run the shaft the other way, all  they have to do is rotate
the throttle body in the housing.    Sure would complicate the linkage.
