Yes on the first question.
Yes on the second question too. Make the side beams look like this.
Your customer will have to beef up those silly aluminum angles used to attach
the motor mounts to a Long EZ. We had a set crack a couple of weeks ago
at the Camarillo air show. Klause had his crack too. Replace them
with bent up 4130 steel angles.
