Film footage mpg files arrived yesterday.  Resampled them last night to get them up to DVD resolution & into compatible mpg2 format.  I'll drop them into a dvd menu & burn a disk over the weekend.
Should have something TV-playable by Monday.

Thanks Mark. If there is any problem with the mpegs as far as resolution is concerned
I can burn a CD with the original data as received from the digital video
camera.

Paul, I think you should go ahead and do that.  Those MPEGS dump most of the data and just keep the basics.  If Mark is going to all the trouble to edit etc and we are going to be using DVD format, we may as well have the best quality stuff we can get.
