That is a good idea to start numbering the posts. Now if I can only get the past posts out of Outlook Express and into
some sort of database I can start finding the items I want. Have any

Outlook Express has a "Search Function". With it you can search for just about anything in your messages.
For example, you can search for any text in the: "From; Field"; "To: Field"; "Subject:
Field" and "Message Field" (which included all the text in the message).
I've used this function and am always surprised at the speed of the search.
You can also limit your searches to a particular date range and can search for messages that only have attachments or
for messages that have been "Flagged".
Messages can be sorted by a variety of fields, like: "To:"; "From:"; "Received Date"; etc.
And, messages can be automatically moved to various folders that you set up automatically For
instance, when a message from the ACRE News Exploder arrives, it can be moved to a folder you create, called ACRE. You even
could establish sub-folders to segregate the ACRE messages (or any other
messages) in to folders that discuss various sub-topics, like: turbocharging, carburetors, exhaust, intake, etc. The
segregation happens automatically, based on message "rules" that you apply to
the incoming messages.
I cannot recommend NetScape. Forget about numbering posts...
