It is almost as easy to make a dyno as it is to make a test stand.
This would be a pieces of cake for you. You don't really need to measure
the thrust. That is handy to test props but not really necessary.

You did just get that message I just sent did you not?

Everett Hatch used this type of dyno and I think Power Sport still uses it.

We're also terribly interested in a home-made dyno.  We intend to run our fwf extensively on the ground before we install it into the fuselage & had been intending to do so with only a simulated
prop load.  But if we can get a dyno set up...
