A 12A in a third gen? Maybe the SCCA should consider 10A's? :)

A couple of years ago I went to Sears Point to help crew for a guy. In
GT2 (or is it GT3?), rules allow a 12A to be bridgeported. Rules
currently don't allow a turbocharged or bridgeported 13B in this class.

I was looking at a 3rd gen with this type of engine, when the
owner/driver walked up and spoke to me.

Driver: "Do you like it?"
Me: "Yes, of course"
Driver: "Last year it was a Volvo"

Apparently, only the body parts, engine, and a few other parts make a
car a certain brand.

Regards,

Rob
