Here is a table of the amount of power it takes to pump X amount of
water
against Y pressure. The last number indicates the current required by
an electric water pump to achieve these numbers. The HP number is
the minimum HP mentioned above and the watts and amps are corrected
for the electric pump efficiency.
If you want to examine the BASIC program let me know and I will upload
the source.
Are there any questions about the calculations? Have I made any errors?

GPH = 15
PSI head ft HP Watts Amps
4.4 10 0.04 54 4.2
6.7 15 0.05 81 6.3
8.9 20 0.07 109 8.3
11.1 25 0.09 136 10.4
13.3 30 0.11 163 12.5
15.5 35 0.13 190 14.6
17.8 40 0.15 217 16.7
Not to be nitpicky, but is that supposed to be GPM instead of GPH?
Chris Cosman
Nope no lie. EWP capacity! :) Just kidding.
Yep. GPM. My mistake. Program error. I corrected it in the program.
