It is beautiful but.....some things I still worry about.  The plenum
box seems too small. Ram air blasting into that tiny box is going to be
extremely turbulent.  Is this bad?  I don't know. The rule I have heard
is the bigger the better when talking about intake plenums

Jerry, Paul has it right when concerning pressurized intake manifolds.
Large plenums are best for any kind of transitional throttle application like
on and off throttle car driving. Transitional states are VITAL in a car or motor-
cycle. Even on a road racing circuit cars rarely see more than 1/2 throttle
for most of the circuit. If you don't believe me hook up one of the computer
sensor setups and do a track day.
On an aircraft a large plenum is better if it can practically be fitted. On a
pressurized manifold, (even slightly), much smaller clearances can be used.
So don't worry too much Jerry, pressure covers a multitude of sins.
