This should be all you need to make a Russell.

Paul, is there any references available concerning bends and radiuses in
intake tubes? Obviously a straight tube would be best, but how can one
adjust for neccessary bends in the system, and how to adjust for different
bends in individual tubes like the Russel in Jerrys case?
My UEG is that a tube with lots of bends should be shorter than a straight
tube for the increased drag and therefor reduced speed.

You need a Burns Stainless catalog. Or you can sear the internet for tube
bends. R&B Wagner have an online catalog of pipe bends but the wall thickness
is quite thick at .14 while tubing can be had in .063 wall.
The Russell was designed for off the shelf tubing bends and they are probably
pretty close to the state of the art as far as radius and wall thickness
are concerned. As far as I know the only way around these limitations
are castings.
