Paul,
Ring or tube radiators, are something I considered some time ago for
installations where a flat rad couldn't be used easily- do you have
any
further info on those,

Hoerner had some data in his book Fluid Dynamic Drag.

Paul,

Interesting concept and low coefficient of drag numbers. Probably not
enough
cooling area can be crammed in the limited frontal space. It would
defeat
the advantages of the small frontal area with the rotary. Oil and
intercooler would still need of source of cool air as well.

Good concept to get the old noggin thinking though.

Doug,

do what Flugwerk did with their "Continuation"-190: Put a fan behind the
Prop, turning at prop- speed with groundadjustable blades, so you can
roughly adjust it to different cooling needs according to climate - you want
to go around the globe......

Check it out: http://www.flugwerk.de/

Thanks Thomas,

I'll put this info in my files. Great website by the way.
Now concentrating all limited gray matter on designing a turbo compound gear
box.
