Subject: New prop coming soon

I have been following Paul Lipps, and the "Contact" crew for some
time,
and have
been
quite impressed with his efforts. Paul is also the primary designer
behind
Klaus
Savier's electronic ignition, and now fuel injection. I do not fully
agree
with his
concept of heavily loading the inner portion of the prop disc, but
the
results
are very convincing. This will support good cooling flow, but will
make
the local aero design of the front of the cowl more demanding. -

better-
it looks funny" - Vance

Here it is on the winning bi plane - they both look weird - mission specific
is a term that Dick Rutan used for the Voyager I believe, and it fits this
case.

Thanks Vance. We could make a cowl like that with straight runners :)
