I think if it came straight out it would be above the wing anyway.
Do you have a more detailed drawing showing the thrust line relatives
to the top of the spar?

Here is a 3D of a Long EZ. Looks like it will come straight out over the
wing.

Paul...this is a Vari-EZ.  The giveaway is the strake design and the
horn instead of the lower winglet.

The Long EZ is a bit larger, and configured differently.  The Long has
larger strakes and the wings are longer, and level (no anhedral, as
here, or dihedral).

If you can use a 3-view of the Long with dimensions, I can get one and
scan it, but it's down at the hangar right now and they're forecasting
some pretty good snow today (in fact, since I started breakfast, the
roads are now covered and it's still coming down), so I'm staying put!

Meanwhile, here's a 3-view without the numbers.
